Food : Probably get everyone to pay a certain fee and we’ll cater the food. That way, its much easier and more convenient

Heys 1D! This is YVONNE. Here it is. The 1D dedication post. I shall start wif how I felt, from the time when I first entered 1D until now. I shall go month by month. Ohh. And sry if my some parts of my reflections are offensive to ppl. It's not meant to put you down or humiliate you.

REFLECTIONS
On the first day of sch, I was kinda disappointed tht I got into 1D. Reason being tht none of my best frens were in my class and I thot tht I'll nvr be able to make any good friends this year. I thot tht I would die in 1D. Seriously. Go check my first day of sch post lor. HAHA.

Abt one month ltr (Feb), I started to have a change of mind. I started to become closer to Shuba. And we became good friends soon after. I was beginning to like my class. I kinda proved myself wrong tht I'll die in this class becoz I actually made a good fren.

I rmb in the month of March, tht was when I started to like being in 1D even more! I rmb tht it was Cross Country. And tht day happened to be my b'dae. When Ms Tang learnt abt it, she actually got the class to sing a b'dae song to me! I was really touched. I mean like she's the first teacher in my sch years to ever ask the class to sing b'dae song to me. The next day, it was the last day of sch b4 it was the March hols. Sch ended and Ms Tang actually gave me a b'dae present! She's super nice and NOT biased lar. She didn't give me present only. She also give the other March babies presents too. Even tho it wasn't some expensive present, I still appreciate her for even getting me a present! :] I mean....even my best fren forgot when my b'dae was (*stares at Rachel Khoo*). I was starting to like Ms Tang even more than I alr did. HAHA.

In the month of April, I made another gd fren! And she's Sherilyn. I've once again proven myself wrong tht I'll die in 1D. So far so good. Life had been great in 1D so far. I was happy and all.

But things started to take a worse turn. In May, I helped Julena post the names of ppl who didn't hand in the Life Science ws. Amelia was upset and all and we kinda argued. A lot of ppl in class couldn't accept the fact tht I liked Ms Tang a lot. And they were starting to tag on my tagboard and say hurtful things when they didn't even know the reason why I liked Ms Tang a lot.

After the sch reopened when the June hols ended, I found out from 2 ppl tht there has been this talking bad abt me going on in class since March or Feb. It really caused me a lot of pain. I mean...I dun go around doing tht and I nvr even offended them. And it's like almost half the class doing it. I was starting to think tht being in 1D isn't tht great after all. After all, how can it be great when everyone else seems to be against you in class.

But I was wrong. I went to talk abt the issue wif Ms Tang, Shuba and Sherilyn. They gave me really good advice and encouragement. It really gave me the strength to fight on. I believed tht they will change. Somehow. Someway. But yes. I believed tht they WILL change.

Maybe becoz of tht issue, I started to become emo in July. What made things worst was tht the class wasn't united. It was very difficult to even get the class' attention when there was an announcement being made in front of the class. I was praying hard tht one day, maybe just one day, tht the class will be united for once. Just once and I'll be happy alr. I was kinda disappointed in the class and all. For the whole of July, I was really upset.

Things started to get slightly better in August. At least I wasn't emo for the whole month. Amelia and I made up and we started to become closer to each other. Tht was a really nice turn of things. Ppl were starting to accept the fact tht I liked Ms Tang a lot and it's not becoz I'm lesbian or tht I'm sucking up to her. There was also be yourself day! I guess tht was one happy occasion.

In the month of September, my period of emoing ended. It was mugging time. EOYs were coming. And I was wishing tht time spent wif 1D wouldn't pass by tht fast and I treasured every happy moment tht I spent wif 1D.

October was fun! Especially haunted hotel 13! I guess tht was when God answered my prayers. For once, we were actually united and we bonded really well! I'll nvr forget the wonderful moments tht I've spent wif 1D.

Hmm...what should go next in this dedication post?....Er...I guess I'll write a msg to each and everyone in 1D. Starting wif register number 1. HAHAH. Since I'm the last one, it'll be just nice.

Adeline- I nvr exactly hung out wif you or anything. But still, I just wanted to let you know tht you make a great class chair!

Amelia- HAHAHA. I'll nvr forget the fun times tht I've shared wif you. HAHA. I still rmb you calling me Faizal. HAHA. And you're the HOT french exchange student. Tht was crazyness. And the time you put flour on my BOTTOM when I was talking on the phone wif Ms Tang. HAHA. You even had barbie doll as a guard for HH13! HAHAHA. It's sad tht you might be going to Shanghai or Germany. I'll miss you if you really are leaving for 18 months. 18 months is a really long time....

Maths
-Complete the Maths text book questions. They are...Pg 297 Ex 13a, Q4 and 7. Pg 304 Ex 13b, Q5, 6 and 8. Pg 309 Ex 13c Q 2 and 3.
-Do the pie chart and the line graphs section of ws 2
-Finish going through your hol hw. Check your answers with the answer sheet in your text book. If you do not noe how to solve some of the questions, do email Ms Tang through HeyMath with the questions.

Language Arts
-Punctuation test. Complete the second page of it. It's individual work. NOT GROUP. For the first page, look up the thesaurus to find even more suitable words to replace your current ones.

-Research on Masks. Complete it in two week's time.

JUNE HOLIDAY HW
-Maths textbook questions: Complete pages 112-114, 220-222. Be prepared for hours of ~~torture~~ FUN and ~~wastage~~ usage of LOADS of full scap paper! :-)
-Maths Portfolio: It's 20% of your CA4 marks! DO OR FAIL. It's your choice : ) It's due on 27/6/07. It's the first Wednesday when sch reopens.
-LA holiday package: Do the 4 cloze passages, two compres and one reading journal. The cloze passages are 9, 10, 11 and 12. For reading journal, read Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and write the lessons you've learnt from the story, and your thots and feelings abt the story.
-Sort out your LA file. Put in dividers to seperate Literature and Eng. Then further sub divide them into compos, compres and tests.
-Read Marigold book. It's the book with the white cover with ~~grotesque~~ BEAUTIFUL Marigold flowers as the background.
-Read Chinese book. It's the $4 ~~and according to everyone, BORING~~ book. It's called Cheers to Life
-Zhou ji: Write on either Labrador Park or Civic District trip.
-Computer studies: It's the story telling using a ppt. You can do it in pairs or as an individual. You can choose to create your own story(Ms Tok says it CANNOT be lame, dang..I'm gd at being lame), work on an existing story(giving it a twist) or use an existing story(No changes made to it at all).

This is Willabelle speaking.
I would like to voice out my opinions on the new changes to the class tees.
well, as you can see, I have written some stuff on the picture so you can click on the picture to have a clearer view of what I have written.
I think having too many colours on the back of the tshirt will be, really, weird. XD
I can't find a word to describe it, sorry.
So, how about we keep it black and white ? :) Since the front of the tshirt is already very colourful. Uhm. Yeah. :D Thanks.
You can ignore this opinion if you hate it, because I don't wish to offend anyone who likes tshirts with colourful backs. x__x I don't make any sense. Nevermind.

Class Outing

HELLO.

Okay listen up. This is regarding the class outing so its super important.

Meeting:
Place: Meet at East Coast Park MacDonalds.
Time: 9.45 a.m.*

*We'll be leaving there before 10. Be on time.
We WILL NOT wait for any late comers.
Late comers find us along the shore somewhere.

Chartered BUS:
-People who are taking the chartered bus post ur name on jacklyn's tagboard.
- Chartered bus would be $5 per person
- Meet at school at 9 a.m. sharp
- We will have to take attendance
- Late comers will have to find their own transport there.
- Meet at school porch.
- Take note that the transport provided would only be from school to ECP

Fees:
- Please note you WILL have to pay for the prizes, equipment etc. etc.
- You will be paying for it by the first week when school reopens
*Take note that you will have to pay and don't scream about it when school reopens.

Food for Lunch:
- Out lunch would be pot-luck
- Jacklyn would be calling all of you up to check what you are bringing
- People who do not bring anything on that day would have to buy food for the class from McDonalds at least $5 or don't eat at all.
- We will have to clean up the place after we eat. People who refuse to will not be allowed to participate in the games after lunch

Attire:
- Wear School Shorts or any shorts that are at least 3 inches away from the knee
- Come with P.E t-shirts and we will be changing out of them when we get there into Class Tees.

What To bring:
Please bring along:
- Water bottle
- Money for transport
- Food
- Positive attitude :)
People who are going for class party as well:

~err.. the 13 peepsies who wan to have chartered bus, its gonna cost 65(13x5) bucks for a one way trip. i suggest u guys take a cab, like 3 cabs and it will cost around 15 bucks(i usually take around that price) and 15x 3 cabs is 45, cheaper tan the bus le? i dunno la, wat u all think.

Okayz. Anw, I just wanted to apologise for mentioning your names ok. I know you may think tht I posted your names on the blog on purpose to hurt your dignity or humiliate you or wad so ever. But trust me, it wasn't intentional at all.

Reasons why I posted your names
1) Firstly, I wasn't the one who wrote tht msg. It was Julena. She just told me to help her post it on the 1D blog. I was just trying to help her since she didn't know how.

2) Secondly, the purpose of tht message was to make you aware tht you have to give Julena 50 cents on Monday for late submission.

3) Thirdly, maybe you would tell me tht she could hav called you all and told you all abt it. But think abt it..there were abt 10 different ppl who didn't hand in their work. Do you expect her to call everyone just to tell them tht and wad's more? Wad if she forgets to call one or two of them? Then they will claim tht they dunno and who's Ms Sim gonna come after? HER right? She's not having an easy time you know.

4) Lastly, you shouldn't feel humiliated. You may tell me tht it's easy for me to say it since I wasn't mentioned. But really.. There are other ppl who have done far more humliating things compared to not handing up an assignment and having your name posted on9. Think positive! Just dun do it again and your name won't be mentioned next time right?

Hi peeps! How are ya all?...oh forget it...as robyn says...u guys are not gonna answer that...hahaz...erm.. regarding the newspaper stuff for biology... i'll be putting new articles up every week and taking down the old ones for filing.. so if you want to read the old ones again then tell me or drop me a note in my envelope at the back of the class...
also, can you all PLEASE get into the habit of RECYCLING???!!.. some people are, but others can't be bothered...hey as it is itz so easy...just walk to the back of the class and dump it in the box..how much easier do you all want it to be????....i'm the one who walks dwon everyday to dump it in the recycling bin unless some other kind soul does it for me...

HELLO 1D. This is Yvonne. As most of you noe, last Friday, apparently 'Ms Tang' tagged the 1D class blog. Well, I'm gonna use this post to find out how I know if the person who tagged as Tania is Ms Tang or not. HAHA. So I've decided to pretend tht this is a newspaper article for the fun of it. to investigate that burning question on my mind-Did Ms Tang really tag the 1D blog? Actually,
it was easy getting the answer because all I had to do was to have a short interview with Ms

So it's confirmed.. The person who tagged as Tania isn't Ms Tang. But I still had some doubts about it. And in the next few paragraphs, I am gonna share with you why this is so.

SIMILARITIES TO THE REAL MS TANG- Point 2 and saying ruth chasing naughty girls( Not in screenshot) As you can see, A is a pic of "Ms Tang's" tag while B is an email message from her. Rmb how Ms Tang said "Dun make Ruth chase the naughty girls for the Maths worksheet?" in school? It can be seen here in the tag. In both the email msg B and tag, she used the word worksheet. When some ppl could just use the term "ws" for worksheet. If it was an imposter, then she would hav most probably used the term "ws".

DIFFERENCES FROM THE REAL MS TANG- Point 3. The only difference that I could find was the smiley used in the email and tag. This does not make much significance as she uses different smilies in both email B and C.

See what I mean? But since Ms Tang had said that she didn't tag, it must most probably be true. Then I shall just say that this imposter is a very good one. Although I highly doubt it was done by an imposter.. Anw, the mystery is kinda considered solved since Ms Tang said she didn't tag.

Hi 1d, How are you people? Hope all of you are fine.Basically what i wanted to tell you all was regarding Biology.Two things actually.. one was just a reminder to access your LEAD account and download the biology testpaper, and the other is regarding educational articles. I've gathered quite a bit actually, and now that the board at the back of our class is ready for stuff to be pinned on it, i can get on with pinning articles with issy's permission. But the thing is, will you people read it?Is pinning it up making it difficult to read cos you have to stand? ... would pasting it on paper and filing it make it easier and less taxing to read?...then if filing it is the better option, then the people who are interested in reading the article can borrow it from me and then return it to me fore safe-keeping.So i can add on to it until it becomes a compilation of articles.Oh,and while i was scouring for articles, i actually found some that are not related to science,but will help you in leadership, making lasting friendships, bonding etc. Worth a read.If you are too embarrased to ask, then just email me and i'll lend it to you confidentially. HOMEWORK FOR THIS WEEK
-Complete the WHOLE of Maths ws 1: Number Sequences and Line Patterns
-Bio test paper.
>Go to LEAD and print it out. It is under assignments.
-Physics test paper.
>Complete it by Monday and bring it to sch on Monday. Circle the questions that you want Ms Choe to explain.
-My best moment compo.
>Do it by Monday. NO TYPING. Minimum of 250 words.
-Fill in the blanks for the boxer poem. It's the poetry package.
-History assignment on LEAD.
>Follow the instructions on LEAD. You are to complete a graded assignment from the workbook. It's 40% of you CA marks so you all better do it!

sorry about the post earlier today, i guess i'm just under great pressure in school even though i may seem rather jovial in class but inside i am screaming. we just have to make 2007 a great year for each and everyone of us. each of us has our own commitments to make, but we have to have time for each other and to do our duties as a whole, as a class. make it easy for our peers and for our teachers as well. i mean later on when you look back you don't want to think: hey you know when i was in sec one, i could've done better. you would want to think: 2007 was a great year, filled with great people and i want to relive if i ever have the chance!!
even though some of you may have grudges or something, PEOPLE CAN GET ALONG. just put in time and effort and you'll see what happens (:
i'm sorry if anything here or in the former post offends you. my deepest regrets. but think about it and ask youself;

you know, i'm acutally quite dissapointed in how our class behaves. remember the days of our sec one camp, where we were so bonded to get he goal of achievement? what happened to that? why have we formed our own cliques and shunned each other out. we have to be friends with one another. i'm not telling you to be best friends and share your each and every secret with whole class, but i'm asking us to be one. and stand up for each other. be a team. being in a team should be fun and enjoyable. we are a team. 1D. but right now i don't think that is how everyone feels. don't leave anyone out in anything. don't let there be any stragglers. and be kind to one another(:
Love THY neighbour as THYself. but are we doing that? ask yourself!! everyone has feelings. i know most of us help our good friends in the class which is good, but don't make enemies with those in your class. rememeber:most of us will end up in the same class next year. and we still have 9 months more to cooperate and show eachother that we have a heart of love.

if you don't feel like you like someone in the class, tell them, you can't live in misery your whole life. it's just not right. we are all human, we make mistakes but we CAN correct them. maybe some of you all in our class will not undertstand what i'm trying to say, but being bullied is not fun, it'd discrimintation. it's cruel. and some people don't know they are being bullied or they are bullying someone. ask and it shall be given.

some of us may have very busy schedules due to syf and all the school work and the test and everything and may feel a little overstressed with the high expectations we are given, but remember that we all have friends to pull us through. that group of friends is 1D we can be together as one and be bonded.

I am Yvonne! The REVIVER. Since the class blog is dead, I am gonna revive it. By doing CCR(Cardio Celebral Resuscitation)!! LOL. We leanrt tht during bio today. So anw, I am gonna post abt wad happened ytd becoz Shuba told me to.

We had 3 free periods ytd! Becoz Mrs Lee didn't come in for Bio and Ms Chia went for bowling competition. HAHAHA. During bio, Ms Tang came into class and told us wad Mrs Lee told her wad to tell us to do. Sounds confusing eh? HAHAHAH. I did it on purpose! Then Ms Tang passed the note to our bio rep, SHUBA and she told us wad to do, then Ms Tang left the classrooom. We were supposed to read the chapters on drugs, alcoholism and smoking. Then we were supposed to be in groups of 5. So Shuba did the grouping. It was crazy man. A lot of ppl were like making things hard for Shuba by continuously saying tht OH! I wanna be in this group! NO! I wanna be in tht group. Poor thing. HAHA. After tht was LA. Ms Ng came in and told us wad we were supposed to do then she left the class. We were supposed to do pair work. HAHA. Me and Julienne were like one of the fastest to finish so we were like free!

After sch, I met Shuba at the lockers and decided to wait with her for her mum at the concourse. While we were talking half way, Joanne suddenly put down her bag and joined us. So funny! Joanne wanted to say the four lettered word which starts with S but she ended up saying SHITAKE MUSHROOM! LOL. GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR THT WORD!!! HAHAHAH. It's my b'dae today! HEY! It actually rhymes! HAHA. Anw, we also had cross country today! It wasn't as bad as I thot it would be. I started running at 8.05am and ended at around 8.35am. WOW. B4 we were dismissed, we had to sing the sch song. B4 we sang the sch song, Ms Tang told the class to sing the happy birthday song to me! HAHA. So nice of her.

I didn't receive any birthday presents today! Coz I am gonna receive belated birthday presents. HAHA. I am gonna elaborate more on my b'dae and cross country on my blog! HEY PPL! This is the Wise Nut, Yvonne! Long time no post! HAHA. I have been busy for the past few weeks and now I finally got the time to post! OMG!! Tmr is X marks the spot! Dun get it? Let me break it down for you. X= Cross Country. The spot= MY B'DAE!! X marks the spot=Cross Country marks my b'dae! Smart eh? I came up with that on my own! Today is my last day as a twelve year old!! At exactly 4.30am tmr, I will turn thirteen! A few more hours and it's adios twelve! AHHH!! HAHA.

I told Mrs Ho tht my b'dae is tmr and I am supposed to run for cross country!! So she said go look for her after cross country tmr coz she's gonna give me food tht she cooked! And no one else will get a share!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! LOL. I sound so err...how to say arh?...hmm....wad word?...AH HA!...nononono....OH!....EVIL!!!...YES!!... EVIL!! HAHA. I took so long to think of tht word coz I'm not usually described by ppl with tht word. HAHA. EVIEEL! EBIL! EVVIILL!! HAHAHA. I dunno why but I love crapping. I even find crap funny. and he PASSED every subject. except...
